I’m Daniela Alves, a qualified Naturopathic Nutritionist based in Cork and online. Through personalised nutrition and lifestyle support, I help adults and families find calm, balance, and renewed vitality.
Nutrifika blends evidence-based nutrition with the art of slowing down — inspired by the Scandinavian concept of fika, a pause to reconnect and restore. Nutrifika was born from a simple idea: health begins when we create space to pause, connect, and nourish ourselves.
The name is inspired by fika — a Swedish tradition of slowing down and being present — paired with fica, the Portuguese word for “to stay.” Together, they reflect the stillness it takes to listen to your body, honour its wisdom, and follow the guidance of nature.
At Nutrifika, my mission is to create a supportive space where you feel heard and guided toward balance. Health isn’t about quick fixes, but about reconnecting with your body and with the rhythms of nature in a way that feels sustainable and nourishing.

These challenges often bring wider symptoms like fatigue, joint pain, digestive discomfort, or skin flare-ups. I support clients by helping to calm immune reactivity, reduce inflammation, strengthen resilience, and guide the body back to balance with nutrition, lifestyle strategies, and targeted support that fits your unique situation.

I support couples and individuals through fertility and preconception planning, offering guidance to optimise nutrient status and create the best possible foundations. During pregnancy, I provide support for energy, digestion, and balanced nourishment, as well as practical ideas for making healthy eating more achievable. After birth, I help women with postpartum recovery and families with everyday children’s nutrition so that the whole household feels nourished and supported. Your first consultation (75–90 minutes, online or in person) takes a full look at your health — exploring your history, diet, lifestyle, and goals. You’ll leave with a personalised holistic protocol, which may include nutrition and lifestyle guidance, supplement and testing recommendations, and practical meal or recipe ideas. This session is your starting point, giving you clarity, support, and a plan to move toward feeling more balanced, nourished, and energised.

A follow-up consultation (around 60 minutes, online or in person) is designed to check in on your progress, adapt your protocol, and address any challenges that arise. Together, we’ll refine your nutrition and lifestyle plan so it continues to meet your needs, with ongoing support, accountability, and practical guidance to help you stay on track and build lasting results.

The Nutrifika Path was created for those who want deeper support, structure, and accountability. With consultations every three weeks, we can adapt your plan step by step, troubleshoot challenges, and build new habits at a pace that feels sustainable. This ongoing guidance not only helps you see better results with the issue or condition at hand, but also gives you the confidence and knowledge to carry these changes forward long after the program ends.
